Our hotel has plenty of history and tradition
1984- Purchase of the former Cafe-Pension Ebner by Adelheid and Wilhelm Kraker
1985- Extension of the bar and front restaurant area
1990- Complete renewal of the kitchen and reception area
1994- New dining room
1997- Refurbishment of the rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors of the main building
2002- Extension of the restaurant with a winter garden and buffet area, and creation of 10 new rooms
The 4 star classification
2008- Refurbishment and extension of the reception area, construction of 30 rooms and refurbishment of the main building. Construction of the Hochkönig’s 750 m² wellness kingdom (with panorama indoor pool, outdoor pool, Finnish sauna, pine sauna, fitness room, rest room, tepidarium, infrared sauna, wellness reception, massage and cosmetic treatment rooms)
2014- Extension of the restaurant and buffet area, new panorama winter garden, creation of the Hochkönig lounge and the Hochkönig bar. A salt sauna in place of the Jacuzzi in the Hochkönig’s wellness kingdom and renewal of the steam room.

1985 Birth of daughter, Claudia Kraker-Neumayr (responsible for running the hotel, together with her husband Stefan, supported by her parents Willi und Heidi Kraker)
