Claudia - Warmth, Organization & Your first Smile

Claudia is the welcoming face at our reception, a vibrant force in our guest service, and the organized soul of our family resort. With an open ear for your wishes, a warm morning smile, and the best insider tips for the Hochkönig region, she ensures everything runs seamlessly.

Stefan - Versatile All-Rounder, Tech Genius & Our Famous "Hausl"

Stefan embodies the incredible versatility of our hotel. Whether providing charming guest service, managing the hotel's organization, or coding away as a true programming genius, he holds all the threads together. And whenever a screwdriver is needed? The boss steps into his role as caretaker and becomes our beloved "Hausl" from our reels! With his down-to-earth humor, Stefan perfectly connects local traditions with modern technology.

Alexander - Our Sunshine & Eager Little Helper

As the son of Claudia and Stefan, Alexander is the absolute sunshine of the hotel, bringing vibrant energy and joy to the Urslauerhof. Growing up in the heart of our family business at the Hochkönig, he loves learning from his parents. Every now and then, he is incredibly proud to lend a helping hand with smaller tasks, warming the hearts of our guests with his charming smile and making our hotel a welcoming place for all generations.

Our Philosophy - Values We Live By Every Day

Hospitality at the Urslauerhof is not just a concept, but a true matter of the heart that comes from within. Our philosophy combines a deep love for our homeland with a constant commitment to the highest quality. We consistently focus on true regionality and sustainability, which is reflected in our fresh ingredients from local producers as well as in our environmentally conscious actions throughout daily hotel life. For us, success means creating an atmosphere of warmth, genuine hospitality, and a true feeling of arrival - a holiday home at the Hochkönig that stays with you long after you leave.

A Quick Chat: Four Questions for Your Hosts

What makes the Urslauerhof a true "home away from home" for you?

Answer Claudia: "It is the combination of our unique location in the municipality of Maria Alm and the many personal connections we make throughout the day. When a guest mentions how peaceful their night was or returns from the ski slopes with a huge smile, we know they truly feel at home."

Stefan, you are the boss, programmer, and the popular caretaker in the videos - how does that fit together?

Answer Stefan: "Perfectly! That is exactly what a family-run business is all about. The technology behind the scenes needs to work, of course, but I am happiest when I can be hands-on - whether helping our guests or taking care of maintenance. It keeps us down-to-earth and authentic."

Where do you find the perfect start to your day or the best place for a short break?

Answer Family: "In winter, definitely the direct access from our ski cellar onto the slopes of the Hochkönig region. In summer, we love sitting on our sunny terrace after a hike, enjoying the stunning view of the mountains, and just taking a deep breath. This mountain energy is exactly what we want to pass on to our guests."

Is there a family recipe for running a hotel so successfully across generations?

Answer Claudia: "There is no secret recipe, but family cohesion comes first for us. We make all decisions together, everyone lends a hand wherever needed, and we never lose the fun in our work. Our guests can feel this genuine joy and love for our homeland in every single moment."
